How long does a website take to complete?
We generally aim for a one month turnaround time, but a website could take anywhere between one week and three months, depending on the size of the website, how long sourcing of images and messaging takes, and how fast approvals and feedback takes.
How much does a new website cost?
That depends on the size and complexity of the website, and can range anywhere from $2000- $5000. At Von Black Studios, we stick to what we’re really good at, which is typically the more bespoke and appealing websites, which would generally be in that price range.
How does the website design and development payment process work?
Our website design and development is the only service where we ask for a 25% upfront deposit. This ensures we can pay any outsourced resources, in case the project is never completed. The remaining 75% is paid once we have completed the project.
What resources do I need to get ready in order to start working on my new website?
A website is arguably the centre of your marketing efforts, and therefore does require some effort from you in order to get it right. If you don’t have a brand identity yet, we would start with creating your brand first.
If you already have a brand identity, then we would generally start with creating the most effective user journey for your website, ensuring we have a good site map planned out. From there, we would need to source some good images and create the messaging required for your site.
If you’re thinking of either giving your website a refresh, or creating a brand new website, we would recommend you start collecting some images and thinking about what you would like to say to your audience. Luckily we handle all of the requirements in the website planning process, so you don’t have to gather anything before we start.
